Joulukuun viimeisissä testeissä de la Rosa ajoi välimalli-Macilla ajan 1:28.993.
Uusi auto oli siis jo sisäänajossaan nopeampi.

Tästä viestistä en tajunnut kyllä mitään mutta on Mäkki ajanut jo ennen joulua Kerssin kanssa.

Rata voi olla aika iso vaikutin tosiaan. Algarvehan on ihan uusi baana ja ennen joulua asfaltin kanssa oli vielä ongelmia. Sikäli kun se on tuosta "asettunut", niin ajat ovat huonosti vertailukelpoisia.
Niin että Ferrarilla on jo KERS ja mäkkärillä. Toyotasta en tiiä.

Autosportin jutussa, josta tuon poimin sanottiin näin:
Eli KERS ja 2009-aerot (2008-rungolla, tietenkin). Tosin en kyllä muista, että McLaren olisi käyttänyt uutta takasiipeä kertaakaan ennen esittelyä. Korjatkaa, jos muistan väärin.Autosport sanoi:
Renkaista ei tietoa.

Eiköhän olleet slicksit jos 2009 tasoja oli tarkoitus matkia. 2009 siipien käyttö ei välttämättä ole olennaista, vanhoilla siivillä on varmasti mahdollista simuloida uusia downforce-tasoja.

MP4-23 -MP4-24 Comparison by Atlas F1
1. The nose is quite raised and has a rather round shape, it's a lot bigger than the one used last year.
2. The front wing is bigger and is closer to the ground. It has simple endplates. The two planes it comprises of have a round and wavey shape.
3. The front part of the body is very high from the ground.
4. Like Ferrari and Toyota, McLaren has built little barge boards in front of the sidepod inlets.
5. The front of the sidepods is high and round with the inlets being very small.
6. The rear of the sidepods is almost as high as the front, this was notably different in 2008.
7. The exhaust pipes no longer stick out of the bodywork. There's a little bulge where the hot gasses come out of.
8. The air inlet above the driver's head is very small and sophisticated. It is further away from the headrest, the design in that area seem to be well worked out.
9. The engine cover is probably what resembles most to last year's car.
10. The rearwing is higher and narrower but the endplates still have many slits in them.

Odottivat auton jäävän radan varteen? No mikäs siinä sitten, kun datan perusteella kumminkin.. varmasti nyt on luottamus kohdillaan noin rakentavan alun jälkeen.

No Pedrohan puhuu tuossa vain auton käytäytymisestä, joka hänen mukaansa oli juuri sellaista kuin odotettiinkin, mutta luotettavuus onkin sitten asia erikseen.
Toivotaan niinToivottavasti tuo uusi mäkkäri poksuu samalla tavalla Lewiksen alla kuin se poksui Kimin aikana.

Kuitenkin viime kausien tilastoja silmäillen huipputallien osalta, kyllä punainen italialainen meetwursti-talli on epäluotettavuuden osalta ihan omaa sarjaansa verrattuna McLareniin
Toivottavasti saavat auton kuntoon ja saadaan kunnon kisat aikaiseks. Mitään järkeä jos yksi talli porskuttaa voitoista voittoon.
Tulipahan mieleen, ettei näissä esittely autoissa ole vielä nähty hainevää. Sitähän ei käsittääkseni säännöissä kielletty? Eli onkohan tulossa vielä vai menettikö evä merkityksensä näiden uusien siipien myötä?
