Imagine spending your whole life trying to get to Formula One, winning Formula Renault 2.0 Alps and GP3 back to back, and not only achieving that but you get a drive at one of the best teams, and in your first season at Red Bull, you even manage to beat your team-mate. You're getting podiums, driver of the days, you start to feel that you could really 'make it' and then all of a sudden, after just a lack of judgement during one race, you get kicked out of your top team right after your home grand prix. You struggle in a slower car against a fast team-mate as you watch your replacement driver storm to a win and become labelled as the next big thing, ending your hopes of returning to Red Bull. And now, at the age of 22, you're out of Toro Rosso, and probably Formula 1. Why would anyone hire you after the whole world watched you struggle again and again since your demotion? Your dreams of F1 success is over in a blink of an eye. He has every reason to feel devastated.
