Brittien F3 vuonna 2003

Näkyisi tämäkin sarja käynnistyvän viikonloppuna. Kun suomalaisia ei ole mukana, niin tietenkään näkyvyyskin on aika vähäistä tällä suunnalla. Sen sijaan monta muuta mielenkiintoista nimeä toki on mukana, kuten Piquet jr.

Ensimmäiset aika-ajot on sitten ajettu ja heti oli tapahtumia.

Autosport: "Nelson Piquet Jr set the fourth fastest time in the session, the first British F3 race for the Brazilian and his Piquet Sports team. However, his team was later disallowed, as the stewards found that his brake duct plate exceeded the maximum measurements allowed. Piquet Jr will thus be unable to start tomorrow's race, as he was classified as the last of the 31 cars in the session. There is only enough room for 30 cars to start the race at the track."

Noh. Toisissa aika-ajoissa jr. oli oli kuitenkin toiseksi nopein ja on myös startissa mukana.

Jaa-ah. Kisassakin taisi sitten olla hylkäyksiä. 1. lähdön voittanut rookie (!) Jamie Green ja tämän tallikaveri Richard Antinucci hylättiin kun talli oli sekoittanut kuskien renkaat. Piquet juniorin lisäksi sarjaa kirtää näköjään myös Teo Fabin poika Stefano. Näitäkin kisoja olis kiva nähdä...

Kovin jo hehkuttelevat tuota Greeniä.

crash.net: In British F3, rising British sensation Jamie Green marked himself as a Grand Prix star of the future by heading both races in spectacular fashion, although the results of the opening race do remain subject to judicial matters following a team error in relation to tyre regulations. However, there is no doubt that Green is already showing the potential to be a future F1 star for Britain.

Green sai takaisin tuon voittonsa jonka menetti kauden ekassa startissa, kun renkaat oli mennyt sekaisin tallikaverin kanssa.

Kolmen viikonlopun jälkeen pistetilanne on kuitenkin tämä.
