Palkit sojottivat pahaenteisesti taivaissa jo aika-ajojen alussa. Ajelin ensin varmanpäälle yhden kiekan ja paransin siitä sitten hieman. Taisin olla 7. siinä vaiheessa kun vajaa 4 min. oli aika-ajoa ajettavana. Seuraavaan oli noin 0,5 sek., joten päätin koittaa vielä pari kiekkaa kisabensoilla. Noh kerkesin ajaa pari mutkaa ja lensin pihalle. Aikaa olisi ollut vielä joinia takaisin mutta en päässyt millään. Se oli siinä se kisa.

Aika-ajoissa ei oikein löytynyt ajofiilistä. Aika surkeita kierroksia ajoin. Alle 1:20 ois pitänyt päästä JOS ois tullut kunnollinen kierros wink
Kisa lähti vielä heikommin käyntiin ja vedin osin lagituksen ja osin omaa typeryyttäni eturivistä startanneen Akimin perään, kun Eaglen moottori räjähti. Siinä rytäkässä putosin letkan hännille. Sen jälkeen sain jonkinlaisen ajorytmin päälle ja tein hienon nousun toiselle sijalle. Pekpoy oli kuitenkin jo 15 sekuntia karussa. McRäkä tuli takaa noin samaa vauhtia minun kanssa (ehkä hieman nopeampaa), joten ei ollut oikein varaa löysätäkään. Joskus kisan puolen välin jälkeen tein typerän ajovirheen ja rengas lensi helvettiin.
Markon servua tuli kyllä ikävä kisan ja varsinkin aika-ajon aikana wink .

Lähdin Kyalamiin Eaglella, joka tosin oli minulle lähes täysin uusi tuttavuus kyseisellä radalla. Aika-ajoissa yksikään kierros ei onnistunut aivan nappiin, ja nopein yritykseni päättyi spinnaukseen viimeisessä mutkassa, mutta yllätyksekseni kökötin silti paalulla.
Startti meni aivan vituralleen. Kierrokset laskivat heti alas, ja ajattelin että kohta tullaan kahta puolen ohi ja innolla persiiseen. Näin ei käynyt, vaan ainoastaan yksi Lotus pääsi ohitseni, ja sen ohitin nopeasti kun se ajoi hiekalle. Siitä eteenpäin ajoin tasaisesti 1:20-alkuisia aikoja puristamatta aivan täysillä, koska huomasin että eroa syntyi näinkin. Ajoin kaikki 24 kierrosta käytännössä virheettömästi ja ero kasvoi taaksepäin mukavaksi.

Kisa näytti ekassa mutkassa todella hyvältä, sillä olin siinä ekana, mutta toisessa mutkassa sitten pihalle. Tipahdin varmaan kuudenneksi tai jotain, josta sitten nousin muiden kämmäilyjen ansiosta toiseksi. Pekpoy kerkesi vetämään kaulaa niin reilusti, että ajoin vaan varmistellen maaliin.

Startissa lähin nopeemmin ku edestä lähteny brabhami ja se yritti litistää mut varikkokaidetta vasten ku menin rinnalle... Yritin jarruttaa, mutta taas kuulu hirvee pamaus, tuli kauheeta nylkkimistä ja kun se loppu, auto oli ihan ehjä ja rata tyhjä. Hölmistyneenä jatkoin matkaa. Sitten pääsin jossain vaiheessa Arcanumin tuntumaan, vaikka auto tuntu oudolta ajaa... ounastelin pahinta... Väistin arcanumin spinnin kaks kertaa ja toisella pääsin ohi. Sitten edestä tippu pikku hiljaa jengiä ja kolmas sija alko näyttää varmalta, kunhan vaan... EI OLIS GASO LOPPUNU! Moottorijarrutuksen pettäessä ajoin seinään ja yks pyörä lähti. Elättelin hetken toiveita moottoririkosta ja yritin sinnitellä kolmella rattaalla, mutta höyryt riitti tasan puoltoista kierrosta...
Jäi sitte jotkut vanhat säädöt kisaan. Uudet tein kyllä ja otin ennen kisan starttia varmuuden vuoks currenteiks, ettei kävis mitään ylläreitä mutta helvetti sentään...

Aika-ajo sujui ihan ok, paras kiekka tuli viimeiselllä vedolla ja riitti eturiviin. Tämän jälkeen tein pari starttiharjoitusta ja huomasin että konetta pitää kierrättää reippaasti koska ykkönen oli kohtuu pitkä. Ja niinhän sitä konetta sitten startissa huudatettiin. Lippumies ei vaan laskenut rättiään ja sitten kuuluikin takapaksista poks kun kampiakseli alkoi uteliaaksi. Doh, oma moka. Sorryt aiheuttamastani hämmingistä startissa.

Aika-ajo meni päin persettä ei ensimmäistäkään ehjää virheetöntä kierrosta, sitten hävisi äänet, bensa loppui ja esc ei reagoinut mihinkään joten en päässyt takaisin varikkolle muutenkuin boottaamalla koneen virtanappulasta. Tämän jälkeen yrittämään takaisin servolle mutta ei onnistunut sitten millään, sai yrittää peräti 13 minuuttia kunnes pääsin ineen ja aika-ajoa oli jäljellä enää reilu 2 minuuttia, viimeinen yritys meni pipariksi ja tyydyin viimeiseen lähtöruutuun.
Lähtö oli kiitos sutimiseneston aivan loistava vaikka edessä olevat autot lagittikin
aivan sikana, pelkäsin että joku tulee kaiteesta eteen mutta onnistui välttämään nämä tilanteet fortunan avulla ja ekan kierroksen jälkeen huomasin olevani toinen!
Pian huomasin että ei ole mitään jakoa pekpoyn vauhtiin, ja takana olevat kuskit pysyivät saman marginaalin turvin takanani kierros kierroksen jälkeen kunnes tuli taas se odotettu virhesuma, pyörähtämisiä, lieviä ulosajoja yms ja olin tippunut sijalle 4. Niko 10 sekkaa takana, sain kasvatettua eroa Nikoon kunnes T1:ssä betoniseinä kutsui ja auto meni ajokelvottomaan kuntoon, aikani räpisteltyä keskeytin skaban ja siirryin katsomon puolelle...

Kylmiltään kisaan, varmaan ainaki yli kuukausi kun viimeksi ajanu siellä. aika-ajo oli todellista tuskaa kun jarrutukset ynnä muut meni mutu-tuntumalla ja auto oli liukas ku mikä. Sen siitä saa kun tekee säädöt 100% itse . Lähössä eessä posahti kone ja väistin, joku tuli perseeseen (siis pelissä wink ) ja komeiden volttien jälkeen pyörilleen maahan. Ajoin kierroksen ja modeemi alko kiusaamaan ja discos minut.
