Former double world champion Mika Hakkinen will be honoured at next year's season-opening Australian Grand Prix near Melbourne.
The 'Flying Finn', who hung up his blue helmet after a final season for McLaren in 2001, will have a new grandstand on the front straight named after him.
Australian GP chief executive Steven Wright, at the race's launch in the city yesterday, said the new grandstand would be priced at $399 per ticket.
Albert Park's track grandstands are named after other world champions; Schumacher, Prost, Fangio, Brabham and Jones.
Wright said the Corporation's aim for 2004 was to make the Australian Grand Prix 'enjoyable, accessible and affordable.'

Hienoa, hienoa...
