Tälläinen tarina löytyi internetin loppumattomasta tietovirrasta:
A Montreal newspaper is claiming that there was an altercation between F1 stars Kimi Raikkonen and newly-crowned World Champion Michael Schumacher on Sunday night.
It's understood the incident took place before Schumacher, his brother Ralf and Toyota star Olivier Panis were involved in a hotel room 'trashing' incident in the early hours of the Monday morning.
Journalist Martin Leclerc, writing for Journal de Montréal, reports that 'an incident' occurred when Kimi Raikkonen approached Schumacher and said "You are my idol, but I do not like the way in which you behave." The Finn is understood to have repeated the phrase several times before finally grabbing Schumacher.
Leclerc reports that personnel from both teams were soon on hand to separate the two men, and quotes an un-named McLaren crew member as saying that a lot of damage was done in the fracas. He also writes that shortly afterwards the two drivers went outside to 'discuss' the situation but once again the situation overheated and turned nasty.
Both teams, and indeed most F1 insiders have kept a lid on this story, which if true is going to spice up the 2004 title fight at a time when Bernie Ecclestone is calling for more controversy.
Leclerc writes that another Canadian journalist Gino Rosato confirmed the story but didn't wish to talk about it, however he admitted that at one point he was asked by Ferrari boss Jean Todt to sit down with Schumacher and help placate him.
It's understood that later in the evening the two drivers were seen sitting together at a table where they talked for half an hour, the 'dispute' apparently settled.
