No niin, legendaarisen Span harjoituspäivän aatto käsillä, aika tarkastaa jälleen uusimmat sääennusteet. Vaikka eri lähteiden ennusteet vaihtelevat osittain kuin kuu ja aurinko, vaikuttaa tällä saraa siltä, että huomiseksi povatut sateet tulevat vasta harjoitusten jälkeen. Perjantai-iltana, yönä ja lauantaiaamuna vettä sitten tulenee enemmän, aika-ajon ja kisan kohtalo on hieman epävarma sateisuuden suhteen. Lämpötilat hyppelevät läpi viikonlopun 10-20 asteessa.

The chances of a wet weekend look high, which is no surprise here. The forecast for Thursday is for showers and an ambient temperature high of 16 degrees Celsius. That is currently predicted to continue through to Sunday, when a rise of a few degrees is anticipated.
Autosport:
The GFS model charts via Meteociel indicate that the 980mb low is sticking to its projected track, with barely any movement since yesterday. This is reflected in the updated forecast for the weekend, which is much the same as we spoke about on Wednesday.
Tonight, Belgium will remain dry with some clear periods at times and a minimum temperature down to single figures. Nine degrees Celsius is expected as dawn breaks on Friday.
The practice sessions should take place on a dry but overcast circuit, with just the outside risk of a very light shower early in the morning, some time before the first practice begins. Otherwise the teams and drivers are good to go for two dry and cool periods of practice, with a top temperature of 17 degrees Celr showers which will be hit and miss until the early afternoon. Later in the aftersius and a light breeze coming from the south.
Mainstream forecasts are indicating a chance of rain on Friday of 80 percent and higher in some cases. This is from a large band of rain that is expected to move in from the west later in the day. The latest indications are that moderate or heavy rain will fall for a period of hours, beginning in the early evening. Friday night, and overnight into Saturday look very wet, with heavy cloudcover keeping the minimum temperature respectable at 14 degrees Celsius.
The main band of rain is forecast to end shortly before dawn on Saturday morning. Following behind it are lightenoon any remaining showers will die away completely, leaving a dry night.
Sunday is still difficult to call at this stage, but this evening's models predict a dry start, with some occasional sunny spells. Towards the afternoon the clouds will thicken, bringing back the risk of an occasional light shower.
