BMW WilliamsF1 Team to launch FW27 on Monday
After intense winter testing with a modified 2004-spec car, the BMW WilliamsF1 Team is set to launch its new contender at Valencia on Monday.
In early January, the Anglo-German partnership introduced its 2005 livery, now it is set to introduce the Williams BMW FW27 to the public. The presentation will take place at Valencia on Monday.
Following the unveiling of the car, the BMW WilliamsF1 Team will carry out initial shakedown runs, followed by an intensive testing programme, in the build-up to the season-opening Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne on 6th March.
Furthermore, the BMW WilliamsF1 Team will announce its 2005 driver line-up at the car launch. So far, it has not yet been decided who will partner Mark Webber in 2005, but with both Nick Heidfeld and Antonio Pizzonia being contracted to the team, one of the two will get the second race drive while the other will be officially announced as test and reserve driver.
