V8-äijiltä hyvää kommenttia sarjasta.

Sikälihän tämä A1GP:n romahdus (luotto Zhuhaihin ei taida olla kovin korkea) pistää ärsyttämään entistäkin enemmän, kun tietää että kohta on edessä pitkä talvikausi ja vain harvat sarjat ajavat radoilla ennen maaliskuuta. Noh, onhan tuossa tuo Middle East kiertue :frank:

V8-kavereiden lievä ylimielisyys näkyy kyllä hyvin Ingallin kommenteissa. Noh, mies saa luultavasti ensi viikolla sitten selittää, miksi Surfersin yleensä korkeat kävijämäärät näin yllättäen romahtivat...

A1 meni nyt sitten perumaan Kiinan ja Malesiankin kilpailut, surprise! Jos vielä kerrankin näen Teixeiran sanovan ettei kannata huolestua, niin...

Sarjahan on myynnissä joten ei mikään ihme.

A1GP:n sivut eivät enää edes avaudu tällä selaimella, mutta tuskin sinne edelleenkään mitään on päivitetty lokakuun jälkeen...

Vähän on kuulemma ollut sellaista kutinaa, että Autosportin Motor Show'ssa tai tämän kuun loppuun mennessä saatettaisiin kuulla jotain, joka liittyy sarjan kalustoon. Jäämme velkojien kanssa odottamaan vesi kielellä kaikkea mahdollista... :dunno:

Eihän tässä tiedä pitäisikö itkeä vai nauraa. Sarja on myynnissä, laskut maksamatta, Teixeira kaappaamassa osuutta Camposista, ja kaikki näyttää edelleen kaoottiselta. USA:n tiimi jatkaa painostustaan rahojensa saamiseksi, ja Teixeiran & kumppaneiden aiheuttama sotku jatkaa leikkiään aussiviranomaisten kanssa. A1GP ei suostu kuolemaan, vaikka on jo kuollut.


Police to investigate A1GP fraud claim after Gold Coast SuperGP collapse

Ms Bligh said she did not believe the A1GP had acted in good faith in its dealings with the government.

"As the auditor-general's report outlines, a number of matters involving the A1GP and its conduct have now been referred to the Queensland police for investigation into possible fraud,'' she said. "I think that highlights the seriousness of the situation and the very poor form with which A1GP conducted itself.''

Mounting bills haunt A1GP boss

Team USA announced it had been awarded a $5 million plus costs judgment against Mr Teixeira.

It is also pursuing Mr Teixeira for $1.4 million in prizemoney it says it won in three years of racing in the A1GP series, but which it alleges the controversial South African businessman has never paid.

Mr Teixeira was supposed to make three payments to Team USA starting in September, 2009, but the money failed to arrive.Yesterday Gold Coast Motor Events Company spokesman Greg Hooton said papers were being prepared to recover the $1.8 million, but refused to go into detail.

He said he expected the Auditor General's report into the SuperGP to be out 'shortly' -- possibly within weeks -- and that he would answer further questions at that time.

But neither the State Government or Team USA may see a cent of their money after the London High Court ruled the A1GP race cars can be sold.

Not surprisingly, a personal pledge by A1GP boss Tony Teixeira that he would donate $50 000 to charity for not turning up [at SuperGP] has also been dishonoured.
