Mika Häkkinen makes return to racing!

The 1998 and 1999 F1 world champion Mika Häkkinen makes a return to racing! RacingNewsFlash.com reported three weeks ago that Häkkinen was contemplating on a return behind the wheel of a race car and now the plans have been confirmed.
The event in question is the new Asian i1 Supercar Championship, which will feature several former and current F1 stars including David Coulthard, Ralf Schumacher, Heikki Kovalainen, Vitantonio Liuzzi, Jarno Trulli, Narain Karthikeyan, Karun Chandhok as well as Häkkinen. The cars used will be Radicals SR3 sports cars.
The plans include seven GPs, the first of which is to take off on December 18. The locations are Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Dubai, Malaysia and Thailand. Each weekend includes qualifyings and two races. In addition to championship title the main prize is $2 million, reports The Asian Age.
