A The nose of the F60 is long, pointy and flat...
1 ...that of the MP4-24 is shorter, rounder and less slender.
B The initial front wing designs are very different also, with Ferrari having little cascade wing elements connected to the endplates and there's a small vertical fin on the outside of the endplates.
2 McLaren's planes have a very round and wavely shaped, the endplates have been kept very simple though.
C The body of both cars in the between the frontwheels is far from the ground and there are two diagonally placed fins to guide the air towards the sidepods on the F60...
3 ...something the MP4-24 does without.
D Ferrari has a rather sophisticated mirror design: they're attached to a long vertical element which in turn is connected to the floor.
4 McLaren has opted for a simple solution putting the mirrors on the side of the cockpit.
E The sidepods of both cars are very dissimilar too. The're a lot of difference in height in Ferrari's sidepods. The aire inlets are rather big and have a simple design.
5 McLaren's sidepods look robust all the way to the back. The inlets are remarkably small and have a slick design.
F The exhaust pipes of the F60 stick out of the bodywork a long way whereas...
6 ...those of the MP4-24 can't be seen at all. There's just a small hole the hot gasses come out of.
G As far as the rearwings are concerned: Ferrari has opted for endplates that are wider and have a greater surface in order to create stability in corners.
7 McLaren has chosen a different design which is characterised by the long slits and the big triangular cut next to them.
