Kuten olen jo sanonut, ei stream saati Motors TV esitä tänäkään vuonna kisasta kuin vajaan kolmanneksen. Tietääkseni stream palaa klo 19.00 ja jatkaa pari tuntia.
Pikku sadetta pukkaa. LT ei näytä varikkopysähdysten määrää, mutta tilanne kärjessä AF Corsen ja BMW:n välillä näyttää kireältä.

Vilanderin autokunta noussut jo neljänneksi.
Turva-auto tuli radalle kun Greg Franchi/Vincent Vosse/Frank Stippler/Frank Biela autokunnan matka päättyi F1:sten lähtösuoralle.

Sateesta huolimatta pieni suvantovaihe kisassa. Tähän väliin samanlainen monsuuni kuin viime vuonna näihin aikoihin illasta, niin tulisi vipinää. GT4 varsin mielenkiintoista seurattavaa, kun luokan neljästä osanottajasta vain yksi Aston enää mukana.

Jos sade jatkuu, niin ei taida löytyä Bemareille haastajaa. Dunlopilla on tunnetusti hyvät saderenkaat.

Ja lähetys Spasta jatkuu vasta huomenna aamupäivällä. Vieläkään kukaan ei näytä ymmärtävän pimeyden potentiaalia - ei edes Le Mans, joka vetää kameramiehensä yöksi pois maantieosuuksilta ja keskittyy kuvaamaan lähinnä varikon valaistuja lähialueita.
BMW lienee vielä aamuauringon sarastaessakin johdossa. Sen sijaan en ylläty, mikäli Audin R-kaseja hyytyy Nurburgringin tapaan enemmänkin.

Sade palannut. #78 BMW on jäänyt sisarestaan jo kaksi kierrosta, ilmeisesti aikaisemmin ongelmia moottorin kanssa.

01/08/2010 HOUR 14: GT2 and GT3 Leaders Collide and Retire
The story of the hour was the collision between the #2 AF Corse – ALD Team Vitaphone Ferrari of Eric Van De Poele and the #50 Phoenix Racing Audi of Anthony Kumpen. Both cars suffered heavy damage when the Ferrari, which had pitted, was coming up to the Audi and a slower GT4 Porsche. Contact between the GT4 and GT3 cars spun the Audi across in front of the Ferrari. A safety car period was called to recover both cars from the track, which lasted 25-minutes before racing resumed.

“It was quite a big shunt. Anthony (Kumpen) was in front of me and there was a GT4 Porsche in front at Stavelot. Anthony passed him at the exit of Stavelot, he passed him on the right, the Porsche thought that he was on the left. I was on the left so I passed them both easy, with no problem. But the Porsche hit the back of the Audi and the Audi crossed the track and hit me. When I was just cruising; so I didn’t see him coming. It was a big shunt. Both our car and the Audi are not very good. It's finished, it's over. We bent the wheels and the suspension. I think that the two cars hit exactly on the wheels and both corners are broken.”

Olisin itse asiassa odottanut GT-kolmosilta parempaa näyttöä GT2:n verrattuna. Suoranopeuksissa hyvin tasapäisiä, elleivät nopeampia.
